Starting a brand new alt account and continuing an old Gundam UC Engage account both have its fair share of perks and disadvantages. Read on to learn whether or not you should reroll, its advantages and disadvantages, and factors that should influence your decision.
List of Contents

If your current account can no longer beat enemy teams in the Arena or clear the latest events, then you may want to consider making an alt account.
Older accounts tend to have already cleared most of the PvE content that grant Diamonds such as the Main Quest. This means that it will be hard to stock up on Diamonds for key banners featuring top-tier units if you are a free to play player, so you will likely fall further behind in power.
The power creep in Gundam UCE has become very steep, as the overloaded skillsets of today's best units make the previous generations of meta picks look like lower-rarity units. If you have none of the top units the game has currently, you might as well reroll and make a new alt account to get up to three top-tier units or more.

Ditching your current account for a new alt account has its fair share of ups and downs, but buying Diamonds instead allows you to rebuild your team while still retaining your current player rank along with all the other perks that older accounts have over new ones.
The point of an alt account is to be able to build a meta team, or at least start with key pieces already in place. New accounts tend to struggle with things like a lack of Rainbow Haro Coins and Sub MSs that can make their top mobile suits stronger.
If you purchase Diamonds on an old account with good Sub MSs as well as Haro Farms in place, you could still rebuild your team by pulling from future Extreme or Super Limited gacha banners, as well as the event ones that feature top-tier picks.
While it may take a while to finally have a meta team yet again, know that the Haro Farm grind will take extremely long, and so will your quest for strong Sub MSs.

The game just improved the 72-Hour Banners and made it so that the UR units you could pull are of the highest tiers. Unlike other gacha banners, these ones are not saturated with useless UR-rarity units.
Theoretically, you could start a new account and have a team made up of The-O (Purple), Quin Mantha, Gyan, Methuss, Zeta Gundam (Waverider), and Geymalk right when you start the game. This team should help you clear most PvE content, as well as be competitive in PvP right away.
Of course, you probably will not be lucky enough to pull all of them right when you start, but if you are satisfied with your reroll, you have 3 whole days to grind as much Diamonds you can to pull for more meta units as well as their signature pilots.

The new Beginner's Trial allows players to level up extremely fast as its missions grant 4,000 Player EXP, 50 UR Custom Tickets, skip tickets, and some leveling materials for 0 AP. This means that you can repeatedly skip these missions for huge rewards, all while enriching your account with huge amounts of UR Custom Tickets.
You do not even need to buy skip tickets to keep going as they are awarded to you instead.
Completing all of the Beginner's Trial stages also grants you Rainbow Haro Coins, as well as some UR-rarity mobile suits that are actually useful, such as the Gundam Ez8, Hyaku Shiki, and Gundam + G-Fighter.
Not only does this set you up to succeed, it also makes the grind extremely fast and easy.
Beginner's Guide: Tips & Tricks

Making a new alt account means that you can once again earn those one-time rewards from each Main Quest mission in the game. With how fast you could level up, how strong you can get early on, and how much UR Custom Tickets you will earn, the entire main quest should be a breeze assuming you had a decent reroll and pulled some great units.
You will stand to earn massive stockpiles of Diamonds if you clear both the Main Quest and the Amuro and Char Mode, which you can then use to keep pulling from the 72-Hour gacha banners or to save it for special gacha banners of future meta-defining units.

Starting a new account can be a refreshing experience, especially given how this time around, you will be able to play as optimally as possible given the game knowledge you have gained while playing with your original account.
Starting anew could also have you experience a potentially different playstyle, depending on what units you had on your original account.

If you happen to change your mind, you can always come back to your original account, assuming you have linked that to either your email or your ID and password.
Sure, you will not be receiving any resources while you're away, and you're likely to be left behind a little, but it is something you can ultimately come back to, especially if you spend on Diamonds or booster packs.

The biggest disadvantage new alt accounts struggle with is how it will be extremely difficult to accumulate Rainbow Haro Coins, which you will likely only earn from events and special login bonuses.
Of course you will be setting up your Haro Farms in this new account, but it will take several months to grind as it is still as slow as ever.

Losing Sub MSs when rerolling is also a tough thing to swallow, especially if you have got multiple meta Sub MSs at high Potential Levels. In cases where you already have a fleet of plenty high-value UR-rarity Sub MSs at high Potential Levels, you might want to think twice before moving on to a new account.

One thing that might prevent you from rerolling is if you have valuable titles and want to keep them, such as the very rare Ace of Aces title that is awarded to those who rank first in any Elite Arena season.
Titles may be meaningless to some, but some titles are far more valuable than others, so if you have these extremely rare ones you may want to just stick with your account.
