How to Play Special Operation Event
Make the Perfect Team Within the Team Cost Limit
The Special Operation event features a set of battles where players can only make teams within a specific team cost limit. The higher a unit's rarity, the more points it will cost.
Depending on the specific iteration of the event, certain units will only cost 50% of the points they would've cost to use otherwise.
Players will need to fill full teams of six mobile suits and six pilots (which means players cannot save points by leaving empty spots in their roster).
For this iteration of Special Operation, there are three battles of increasing difficulty against teams of Red-type units. Once a mobile suit and unit have been used, they cannot be used again even as Sub MSs. Using Sub MSs does not cost any points.
Players should focus on clearing the event using the least amount of points possible. If players manage to clear the event using just 280 points, they will likely earn all the rewards up for grabs during the event.
To do this, players are recommended to use R-rarity mobile suits and pilots, as these cost the least amount of points. Players who are at or are close to the max player rank can power their way through the first two battles with teams full of R units. Fortunately, R-rarity units are easy to invest in since they do not need too many resources to upgrade.
If players used too many points, they can reset their progress and try again for a better (lower) score.

Using units from these series will cost 50% less compared to other units, so it is recommended for players to use them to achieve a lower score.

Use the Least Number of Points As Possible
Clearing the Special Operation stages using as little points as possible is the most effective way to play because more rewards will be given to players who use the least points.
Since the event comes with units that have reduced costs, using them will be important in saving points. However, if the player does not have units with reduced cost, they should try using only 1 UR unit throughout their run to save points.
After all, the only goal is to clear the stage, not deal ridiculous amounts of damage.
Use Self-Sufficient Mobile Suits
Even if they are more expensive, it is recommended to use at least one UR rarity mobile suit in battle because these units will usually be powerful enough to carry a weaker team. It is better if this mobile suit can deal teamwide damage to get rid of the fodder quickly.
A good example of a mobile suit with these qualities is the Red Qubeley. While not discounted for this event, this unit can effectively solo the first stage due to its strong teamwide EX skill and damage over time that can chip away at enemies.
We recommend using the Red Qubeley with low cost mobile suits or discounted ones to save points.
Be Aware of Enemy Abilities
Keep in mind that some enemies will have abilities that make it difficult to clear the stage. In the last stage, for example, there will be a mobile suit that can disable the EX skills of friendly units, greatly reducing a player team's damage. This could then make the stage end in a failure due to timing out.
It is important to counter these abilities with the right unit. For the last stage, the Purple O shines as its Lethal EX skill can still work even if its EX skill is disabled.
Like with the Red Qubeley, the Purple-O can be paired up with weak mobile suits to save costs on building a team. It is also important to note that The-O has a reduced cost for this event, making this mobile suit very effective for this situation.
Special Operation Event Rewards
This event rewards players with Custom Tickets and Haro Coins of all kinds, as well as Diamonds. UR-rarity gears for Armored units are also up for grabs.
All the available UR-rarity Armored Gears can be won by clearing the event after using 120 points.
