How to Play Special Operation Event
Make the Perfect Team Within the Team Cost Limit!
The Special Operation event features a set of battles where players can only make teams within a specific team cost limit. The higher a unit's rarity, the more points it will cost.
Depending on the specific iteration of the event, certain units will only cost 50% of the points they would've cost to use otherwise.
Players will need to fill full teams of six mobile suits and six pilots (which means players cannot save points by leaving empty spots in their roster).
For this iteration of Special Operation, there are three battles of increasing difficulty against teams of Blue-type units. Once a mobile suit and unit have been used, they cannot be used again even as Sub MSs. Using Sub MSs does not cost any points.
Players should focus on clearing the event using the least amount of points possible. If players manage to clear the event using just 150 points, they will likely earn all the rewards up for grabs during the event.
To do this, players are recommended to use R-rarity mobile suits and pilots, as these cost the least amount of points. Players who are at or are close to the max player rank can power their way through the first two battles with teams full of R units. Fortunately, R-rarity units are easy to invest in since they do not need too many resources to upgrade.
If players used too many points, they can reset their progress and try again for a better (lower) score.

Special Operation Tips and Tricks
Clear Battle I With Discounted R Units

Use only discounted R-rarity mobile suits in Battle I in order to minimize the Total Formation Cost.
Battle I is trivial compared to the others, so players should only use the discounted R-rarity if they want to score within or at least close to the 200 target Point Cost for all three battles.
The enemies here are not too tough, but they cannot be beaten without Grade II R-rarity units. Luckily, this is a somewhat common reward from events, so players must use R-rarity gears on at least one of their chosen units.
Take note that the Gundam GP01 on the enemy team is their healer, so players must look to take it out first for the best chances of success.
Use Absolute Evade/Perfect Guard To Beat Battle II
Unlike Battle I, Battle II cannot really be won with brute force when using only R or SR-rarity units. It is much tougher than the first battle, but it is easily clearable with just one simple strategy.
The enemies here do not have any means to counter Absolute Evade or Perfect Guard, so players should look to field a discounted UR mobile suit with access to the said statuses. Next, they should surround it with weak R-rarity units, as these will only serve to fulfill the 6 MS and 6 pilot requirement to start the battle.
These 5 R-rarity units will get eliminated right away, leaving the entire enemy team to aggro onto the player's UR unit. This should quickly charge up the MS' EX gauge and will cause it to wipe out the enemy team one by one, assuming the player has enough investments in them.
Take note that the enemy team's healer is the Engage Zero Incom Type, so as usual, players should prioritize trying to take it down first.

Assuming that players followed the first two tips, players should be able to afford at least 3 fully-built discounted UR mobile suits and their pilots.
Luckily, for players, some of the game's current best mobile suits are discounted, and the stage is not as difficult as event final battles usually are.
To beat this stage, simply use any of the mobile suits listed above, as all of these are some of the best units in the game. Bonus points for pulling the Gundam GP02 (MLRS), as it will not contribute to the total Point Cost.
Try not to spend too many points, as two or even one of these top-tier picks might be enough to clear this battle. Complete the team with discounted lower-rarity units in order to try to meet the 200 Point Cost Target.
Special Operation Event Rewards
This event rewards players with Custom Tickets and Haro Coins of all kinds, as well as Diamonds. Free-to-play players may be surprised to see that UR-rarity gears for Armored units are also up for grabs.
All the available UR-rarity Armored Gears can be won by clearing the event after using just 150 points.
