Fishing!
Baits are items that Byleth can use during free exploration time in the monastery. By heading to the fishing spot, Byleth can proceed to fish. As fishing is one way to increase Professor Level, and it doesnt even consume any of your valuable activity points, having plenty of bait never hurts!

Where to Get Bait

Can Be Picked Up in the Monastery

FE3H Baits
There are several blue lights you will see while exploring the monastery. This ranges from food and lost items, to fishing bait, to even gifts!

Can Be Bought From Eastern Merchant

The merchants you aid in your quests become full time merchants in the monastery. You can buy items from them when you decide to explore the monastery. The Eastern Merchant specifically, sells gifts and bait, which can be used to further your fishing sessions.

Can be Obtained From Side Quests

FE3H Baits

Quests provide several rewards. These include battalions, tea, foods, and even baits. Make sure to complete sidequests to gain more baits so you can get more fishes!
