What Are Crests?

Symbols of Power

Crests are symbols of power that were given to humanity by gods in the past. Crests can be inherited by descendants of the crest owners and these owners are seen as people with greater power than the common people.

Boosts Certain Attributes

Gameplay-wise, characters have Crests that boost certain moves and aspects about them. These effects ranges from provding more damage, giving a free follow up attack, or even preventing enemies from countering attacks!

Allows Units to Wield Relics

Having a crest makes the crest bearer not suffer reppercussions from wielding relics. This is further improved if a certain relic has a certain affinity to a relic and will further strengthen the relic and even allow you to use an exclusive combat art!

If a unit wields a relic weapon without a crest, they will suffer and take damage after the combat phase has ended. It is therefore not recommended to give relics to units without crests.
