Prologue - Creating Your Character

Choosing Your Gender

Male and female Byleth.

The gender you choose affects which characters whose support you can S rank, as well as making one character immediately recruitable.

Naming Byleth

Choose something good! You'll be seeing it for the rest of the game and it cannot be changed.

Choosing Your Birthday

The birthday you set is tied to the in-game calendar rather than real time so you can set this to whatever you'd like. When your birthday comes around, your house leader will send you a present that can be equipped for a +2 Charm boost.

Prologue - First Decisions

Once you wake up, you will run into your first of many dialogue options that may increase various character's supports.

Dialogue Option	Effect
A) Oh, right... B) No change.	A) Of course. B) Increase Jeralt's support.

Prologue - After the Battle

The MVP of the battle will get a boost in motivation.

With the battle won, a cutscene will play and you will return to Sothis. Listed below are the choices that have an effect on her support.

Dialogue Option	Effect
A) I am no child. B) I'm less than a child?	A) No change. B) Increases Sothis' support.
A) Turn back the hands of time. B) Keep time frozen until I'm safe. C) I'll just stay here and wait to die.	A) Increases Sothis' support. B) No change. C) Decreases Sothis' support.

Once you return to the real world there will be more dialogue choices during your conversation with Alois.

Dialogue Option	Effect
A) He is a stranger to me. B) I'm a bandit. C) That is correct.	A) Decreases Jeralt's support. B) Increases Alois' support. C) No change.
A) The Knights of Seiros? B) I didn't know he was a captain.	A) No change. B) Increases Edelgard's support.
A) Ardestian Empire: Land of Ancient History B) Holy Kingdom of Faerghus: Land of Noble Knights C) Leicester Alliance: Burgeoning League of Nobles	A) Increases Edelgard's support. B) Increases Dmitri's support. C) Increases Claude's support.
