What Are Rusted Weapons?

Rusted weapons are rare items that are normally dropped by demonic beasts during rare monster sighting events. These monsters are to be contested with a different army and the one that lands the finishing blow gets the weapon.

While these weapons appear very weak on the surface, taking them to the blacksmith and getting them forged will often result in much more powerful weapons. Rusted weapons are not all the same, so it is important to check out each one at the blacksmith!

Is Forging Rusted Weapons Worth it?

Not for purchasable weapons

Rusted Weapons normally get forged to purchasable weapons. Aside from the Brave weapons, the other weaker weapons are not worth spending the materials for forging.

Yes for rare weapons

A rusted gauntlet that can be forged to a dragon claw.

A common mistake many players make in the game is assuming that all Rusted Weapons can only be forged to a single type of weapon after obtaining one rusted weapon for the first time. This is not the case, as these weapons can be forged to some of the strongest weapons in the game (albeit rarely). Make sure to get the weapon and forge it if this is the case.
