The Super Suit is considerably the best armor in the game. It can be equipped by any character, greatly increasing all of their abilities, as well negating status effects and elemental damage.
Obtaining this armor is difficult and is proof that you have mastered the timing mechanic, as it requires landing a whopping 100 hits in a single Super Jump use to obtain.

The game's ultimate armor for Defense and Magic Defense stats, as the Lazy Shell (Armor) has the highest points for both. But its tradeoff is a significant loss in both attack stats and speed.
Because of this, Peach is the ideal candidate for using this armor given her moves are mostly designed to serve in supporting other party members.

The Work Pants are great armor pieces that can be obtained fairly early in the game given its overall stat boost. Because of this, you may find yourself equipping all of your charcters with these armor pieces.
Having Bowser use these pants can be beneficial for giving him further stat boosts since he is already naturally tanky.
