In Super Mario RPG Remake, Jump damage can be increased by 1 every 2 uses. Read on to learn what the max damage of Jump is, how to increase its damage, as well as Jump's effects, FP cost, and how time Jump well!
List of Contents
Jump Damage has a property unique to it where you can permanently increase its damage. No other attack in the game has this effect.
In the original Super Mario RPG release, with 25 as Jump's base damage and 127 as the maximum bonus damage, the total max damage that Jump can have is 152 (ignoring attack boosts and equipment bonuses).
The max damage increase you can get from using Jump in the remake, however, is still undetermined, as Mario's magic attack stat might be a factor to the move's damage increase.
We will update this page once we have concrete data!
To permanently increase the damage of Jump, simply use it in battle. Jump's damage will increase by 1 every 2 uses.
This makes it a good idea to invest your time in just constantly using Jump throughout the game, ignoring stronger moves like Super Jump. Jump will eventually outdamage all your other moves, while also being cheaper (it only costs 3 FP!).
