How to Beat Manager and Attack Patterns

Prioritize the Manager

Super Mario RPG Remake - Focus on the Manager

The Manager will be accompanied by three (3) Pounders at the start of battle. Prioritize the Manager since more Pounders will arrive whenever all are defeated in battle.

While there are many enemies on the field, the Pounders really do not do much damage, so it's best that you take hits from them and block, heal regularly, and keep your focus on the Manager.

How to Block Attacks

Leave One Pounder Alive

Super Mario RPG Remake - Leave One Pounder Alive for Manager

Defeating all of the Manager's Pounders will trigger summoning more. If you are struggling with multiple Pounders, it is best to just leave one alive.

Aim to defeat only two (2) pounders, then when there is only one, focus on the Manager. Be cautious when using multi-target attacks, since you may end up defeating all of them accidentally.

Inflict Fear with Bowser's Terrorize

Super Mario RPG Remake - Use Terrorize on Manager

Special Move Effect
Terrorize
(Bowser)
・Inflicts Fear status effect.
・Rotate the left stick to increase the damage dealt by the Special Move.

Use Bowser's Terrorize to inflict Fear on the Manager and his Pounders, lowering the damage they do while also increasing the damage your party can deal to them.

Using this regularly will make the fight easier, so make sure Bowser has enough FP to take advanatage of it!
