Equip Recommended Equipment

Raven has a wide array of attacks and is very fast so you will be dodging and parrying most of her attacks at every time you can.

You should equip the Reflex-Type Exospine which is specialized in dodging and parrying attacks. Along with this, you should have unlocked the skill Focus Boost as it will make the battle easier.

More Attacks at 60% HP Below

When you manage to deplete Raven's HP below 60%, new attacks will be added into her skillset.

Beta Skills Are Harder to Hit at 60% HP Below

Once Raven is at 60% HP she will counterattack you every time you use a Beta Skill. It is best that you should only use it when Raven is down and defenseless.

Use Beta Energy For Counter Skills Instead

After a succesful Perfect Parry immediately perform Counter on Raven, or if you land a Perfect Dodge you can perform Reflection instead.

These two uses Beta Energy as well and is much more recommended than Beta Skills when Raven is at 60% HP Below.

Best Combos

Fight From A Distance

The best and proven way to defeat Raven easily is to run away. Run away from a distance and wait for Raven to start her assault on you.

Raven has two attacks that she does when Eve is far away, four if she is below 60% HP, and when she does this, it is the best time to Perfect Parry and land a fatal counter hit on her. Repeating these steps will ensure victory easily.

How to Perfect Parry

Parry Cautiously When In Close Combat

During close combat, a mini Quick Time Event might occur when doing Perfect Parries wherein you will need to press the Square button repeatedly to gain traction over Raven.

If you fail to press the button enough times, it will lead into Eve taking damage.

Guns Are Useless

Never bring a gun to a swordfight as Raven can easily dodge every time you take aim using your gun. Ranged attacks are ineffective so keep in mind that using it in this battle is futile.

How to Get the Stellar Blade Gun

Burst Skills Can Save Eve

Raven has a combo consisting of 8 continuous attacks when her HP is decreased below 30%. You can see it when she begins laughing before doing the combo. This is hard to avoid especially when you don't know how to time your dodges and parries accurately.

Burst Skills, when used, provide a small invincibility frame for Eve, so keep in mind that when Raven does her fiendish combo, you can counterattack with a Burst Skill!

This can occur when you continuously parry her attacks. Failing to press the button enough times will lead to Eve taking damage.
