A huge part of beating the entire game is going through every side quest and request the game has to offer. There are side quests in the game that will provide you with new areas to discover, new characters to interact with, and new items to collect!

Gather All Collectibles

There are a ton of collectibles to acquire, found across all the regions in the game. There are three categories of collectibles: Memory Sticks, Passcodes, and Documents. All of these appear in your Data Bank, so it's easy to cross-check whichever you're missing.

Leave no stone unturned when going through an area to completely fill up your data bank!

All Collectible Locations and How to Get

Collect All Cans

Collecting all 49 cans can be a tricky task to accomplish as some of them are hidden, but they do give awesome rewards—and a pretty cool animation whenever you pick one up.

You can confirm which cans you're missing by going to the Safehouse in Xion and checking the display shelf made by Lily.

Catch All Fishes

Fishing is a surprising activity to do in a post-apocalyptic world, but it's a welcome one indeed. There are a total of 25 different fish to gather, all with their own challenges, preferred baits, and locations.

Obtaining all types of fish will not only net you a special reward, but will also help you complete certain side quests and requests.

Play Through New Game Plus

New Game Plus is a game mode that appears after completing the main story line for the first time. There are numerous new items, upgrades, and content that only appear in New Game Plus, making it a must if you're planning to take everything that the game has to offer.

Obtain All Equipment

Although not counted as collectibles, obtaining all the equipment is part of completely covering the game. These are items that are found under the Equipment tab, namely Exospines, Gears, and Exteriors.

Note that some of the equipment can only be obtained in New Game Plus, so completing all of it can definitely take a while!

Unlock the Platinum Trophy

The ultimate goal is obtaining the Platinum Trophy as proof that you've really beaten the game. This will require you to pass through the main story three times to get all the different endings, so be prepared for the long journey ahead.

We recommend having a look at all the unlockable trophies first to have certain goals in mind as you play through the game. Do not be pressured to unlock them all in a single run because you'll have to go through numerous playthroughs to get the endings anyway!

Take on Boss Challenge Mode

Boss Challenge is a new game mode added in Patch 1.003 and allows you to take on all 19 bosses in a boss rush mode in three difficulty settings!

This new game mode requires you to complete the game once, with higher difficulties unlocked by completing the game in Normal or Hard Mode.

Successfully completing Boss Challenge in Normal or Hard unlocks the new Neurolink Suit!
