The distress signal can be found from a robot stuck in the Scrap Yard's crane. Help out the robot named D1G-g2r to start the quest.

Plan to Clean the Earth Sidequest Objectives

Reset the Claw Crane's System

To help D1G-g2r from the Crane, you have to power it up once again and activate it to lift the machine that's pinning D1G-g2r on the ground. To activate it, you have to activate 3 machines in the right order. Follow the order below to Activate the Claw Crane!

1st Machine Solution

1	Push the platform to the wall with the yellow beams.
2	Use the beams and hop on to the area that you can reach using the beams and press the switch in that area.

2nd Machine Solution

1	Push the metal box jsut below the metal structure and use it to hop over it.
2	Push the cart on the elevated switch on the floor.
3	Push the metal box on the newly unlocked area and jump on it to find the second machine. Activate it to complete the 2nd puzzle.

3rd Machine Solution

1	Head to the locked gate.
2	Use the two pushable carts and place it on the switches on the floor to activate and open the gate.
3	Pull the metal box inside the gate and place it on the ladder outside the gate's area, just beside the switches where you put the carts from step 2.
