☆ Resident Evil: The Whole Story Explained

Victor (Mutated) is the final boss of the canon ending in Resident Evil Requiem (RE9). Learn how to beat Victor and see the tips and strategies for this boss fight!

Victor will make his return at the final stretch of the story. He will grow a tentacle arm and try to eliminate Leon, who always gets his way.
Victor will also bring his beloved RPG-7, but you can use that against him once he drops it.
Victor's attacks are predictable and easy to parry. All of his attacks can be parried as well, giving you an opportunity to deflect everything.
Even if you parry his attacks, you are not required to use your Hatchet to counterattack. Swiftly bring out your weapon and shoot after parrying successfully.

You can use Requiem to end the fight quickly. A few shots to the head would make him go into a mini second phase, where he absorbs the purple energy below the facility.
You will get the chance to shoot the Requiem once he charges up a huge attack.

Victor's RPG-7 is the key to end the first phase. Quickly shoot him once he brings out the RPG-7. You can then pick it up and use it on Victor.
Make sure not to miss the shot, as you only have one bullet for the RPG-7!
RPG-7 Location, Stats, and Upgrades

Victor will go into his Nemesis Form after getting beaten badly in the first phase. He will attack relentlessly in this form, but you should still get enough time to reload or sharpen your Hatchet.
You can attack the red blobs around his body to damage him and eventually kill him. You can also parry his attacks even if they look physically impossible. The best weapons to use here are the SMGs, as they have the highest fire rate and can quickly pop those red blobs.

You can parry all of Victor's attacks in both phases. You can finish the boss fight without getting damaged if you can manage parry all of his attacks.
Make sure to sharpen your Hatchet after an attack to ensure you can defend yourself on the next attacks.
Spend your points and get all the items and upgrades you can before the final fight. It's highly recommended to max out the Hatchet and use Mortal Edge as a backup as you will need to parry a lot to survive Victor's attacks.

Since this is the last fight, use all the resources you need to beat Victor. You can unload all your Requiem bullets, hand grenades, and all of your ammo onto him.
