 Obtained by completing the Memories in the Blade side mission for the Blacksmith. This quest is unlocked once you gain access to Heian. |

 Has a chance to drop from any Shunobon. |
| Hanzo the Demon's Spear |
 Obtained by completing the first of The Demon's Regimen missions (there are two). Defeat Hattori Hanzo to get it. |
| Heizo's Hatchets |
 Obtained after defeating Kajiwara Kagetoki during the side mission, True Samurai of Kamakura. |
| Himiko's Staff |
 Defeat Kusanagi and Himiko in Yamatai during the main mission, The Spirit Tree Village. |
| Merciful Switchglaive |
 Obtained from Ii Naotora after completing the Ii's Memento side mission. Speak to her back in Hamamatsu Castle to get the reward. |
| Mikazuki Munechika |
Obtained by completing the Memories in the Blade side mission for the Blacksmith. This quest is unlocked once you gain access to Heian. |
| Mikoshi's Khakkhara |
 Has a chance to drop from any Mikoshi Nyudo. |
| Odenta Mitsuyo |
Obtained by completing the Memories in the Blade side mission for the Blacksmith. This quest is unlocked once you gain access to Heian. |
| Potsticker Spear |
 Obtained by completing a Fiery Invasion. Defeat Takeda Shingen (human form) inside the Crucible to get it. |
| Rusty Hoe |
Has a chance to drop from any Shunobon. |
| Ryomen Sukuna's Sword |
 Dropped by the Ryomen Sukuna at the end of the Heian Battle Scroll - The Mystery of Rajomon. |
| Sohaya Tsugiri |
 Obtained by completing the side mission, Headaches. Deliver the cure to Tokugawa Ieyasu to get this smithing text. |
| Swordsmith's Hammer |
 Obtained by completing A Fierce Flame. This mission is unlocked after clearing the Hamamatsu Crucible. Enter the Eternal Rift then speak to the blacksmith to start the mission. |
| Tombokiri |
 Obtained after defeating Honda Tadakatsu during the Becoming Champion of the East side mission. Speak to him afterwards to get it. |
| Warrior of the East's Armor |
 Obtained after defeating Honda Tadakatsu during the Becoming Champion of the East side mission. Speak to him afterwards to get it. |
| Yamatai Sword |
 Has a chance to drop from human enemies in Yamatai during the period of Antiquity. |

 Chance to drop from Onmyo Mages during the Heian period. A lot can be found in the Matsuo-taisha Shrine (west of the map). |
| Brave Demon Hunter's Armor |
 Defeat the Ninja Yoki during the side quest, The Box's Guardian. This side mission appears in Rajomon (south side of the map) during the Heian period. |
| Brother's Vestments |
 Defeat Tokugawa Kunimatsu during the main mission, Light of Hope. This will be the second time you fight him since the tutorial. |
| Coiled Snake Helmet |
 The second reward for giving a certain amount of Noble Dung Balls and Dung Balls to Tatsumaro the Dung Lover at the Eternal Rift. You can unlock this NPC by completing his quest in Heian called Putrid Paradise. |

| Curious Crown Helm |
 Looted from a chest inside a house to the north of the Filthy Flooded Street Shrine in Rajomon (Heian period). The chest is guarded by a lone enemy soldier. |
| Devotional Helmet |
 First, defeat the Onryoki boss atop the Horinji Temple Bridge to the west of the Heian period map. Once it drops the Tarnished Iron Key, take it to the large temple structure to the southwest of the bridge. Inside, open the chest and copy the Gesture made by the Mujina to get it to drop this smithing text. |
| Dragon Head Helmet |
 Open the chest inside the building northwest of Filthy Flooded Street Shrine during the Heian period. Then, use the correct gesture to placate the Mujina (or kill your evil copy) to get this smithing text to drop. |
| Female Demon Mask |
 Obtained by looting a marked chest to the east of the Kamo Village Shrine. You'll need to jump on the well, the onto a roof to reach the house with the chest. Be careful of the Dweller waiting to ambush you inside. |
| Great Hachiryo Armor |
 Obtained by completing the side mission, Follow the Soldier's Shadow. From the Funaokayama shrine, go west to find Minamoto no Yoshitsune (this starts the mission). |
| Hairy Caterpillar Helmet |
 Obtained from a dead body, west of the Gion Grove Shrine during the Heian period. To access this location, you'll first need to clear out the Large Crucible to the north of the shrine. |
| Hellfire Ninja Attire | Obtained as a Digital Pre-Order Bonus. To claim, pray at any Shrine then go to Preparations > Boons. |
| Hellfire Warrior Armor | Obtained as a Digital Pre-Order Bonus. To claim, pray at any Shrine then go to Preparations > Boons. |
| Hellfrost Ninja Attire | Obtained as an Early Purchase Bonus. To claim, pray at any Shrine then go to Preparations > Boons. |

| Moon Charm Helmet |
 On a body hanging off the ledge southeast of the Horiike of Arashiyama Shrine during the Heian period. This area is accessible only by breaking the nearby Crucible Spike. |
| Mount Fuji Helmet |
 Obtained after opening the chest near the Driftwood Fortress Shrine during the Heian period. The chest is on elevated platform and can be accessed by a ladder located beside it. Clear out the enemy base to access the chest. |
| Mountain Ridge Helmet |
 Looted from a chest on top of a walkway north of the Hot Spring in Rajomon (Heian period). When you first arrive here, bandits will be guarding the area. |
| Righteous Armor |
 Obtained by completing the side mission, Headaches. Deliver the cure to Tokugawa Ieyasu to get this smithing text. |
| Training Robe |
 Obtained by completing The Way of the Ninja: Novice or The Way of the Warrior: Novice. Both missions are unlocked after clearing the Hamamatsu Crucible. Speak to Hattori Hanzo or Yagyu Munenori in the Eternal Rift to get both battle scrolls. |
| Twin-Snake Helmet |
 Reward for completing the Nioh 3 Demo. It is also a guaranteed drop from the Jakotsu-baba until Feb. 15, 2026. Becomes a rare drop from the Jakotsu-baba after Feb. 15. |
| White Fox Mask |
 Chance to drop from Onmyo Mages during the Heian period. A lot of these mages can be found in Kamo Village (north of the map). |
| Wild Boar Crest Helmet |
 Looted from a large chest inside the enemy base south of the Awawa no Tsuji Shrine during the Heian period. Clear out the base to unlock the chest. |
| Woman's Face Mask |
 Guaranteed to drop from a chest in Yasaka Shrine during the Heian period (same area where you encounter the first Kyokotsu). This smithing text also has a chance to drop from Nure-onna. |
| Youngblood Armor | Obtained as an Early Purchase Bonus. To claim, pray at any Shrine then go to Preparations > Boons. |

How to Use Smithing Texts
Used by the Blacksmith to Forge Weapons and Armor
Smithing Texts can be brought to the Blacksmith in Eternal Rift. These texts will serve as the recipe to forge the armor or weapon that is titled on the Smithing Text that you obtain.

zDivines 22 daysYou can get the "Brave Demon Hunter" smithing text, along with both of its weapons smithing texts by completing the quest: "The Box's Guardian" in the second era. It is given by an Omnyo Mage next to the Anneibo Temple Shrine. I am not 100% sure if it is a requirement or not but: I noticed him next to a tree after defeating the seal thingy boss in that area and he didn't seem to be there beforehand.
