Talk to the Onmyo Mage by the Road in Hachijo

Nioh 3 The Box

Talk to the cowering Onmyo mage near the center of Hachijo, by the road, to unlock The Mystery of Rajomon. This also unlocks the myth, The Box's Guardian.

Complete The Oni of Rajomon

If the Onmyo mage is not in the area, you may need to complete The Oni of Rajomon objective in the Heian Befouled mission first, to purify the seal in Hachijo.

The Mystery of Rajomon can be accessed and played through the Battle Scroll option when praying at a shrine.

Nioh 3 The Mystery of Rajomon 1
After selecting and starting the myth in Battle Scroll, you will be transported to a version of Hachijo, with a shrine just up ahead. From the shrine, head down the stairs to the left, and to ground level.

Nioh 3 The Mystery of Rajomon 2
There will be soldiers and yokai fighting in the street, note that they will all still attack you. Go northeast down the street and through a broken wall where there is a second shrine in the hallway.

Nioh 3 The Mystery of Rajomon 3
Go through the hallway to the right of the shrine, through the house and out on the other side. Be careful of the yokai along the way.

Once you're outside, go down the alley and up the wooden ramp, over a roof and to a third shrine.
5 Go north from the shrine and you'll end up in a small ice arena with two small yokai and a large yokai. After defeating them, a second wave of yokai will appear.

Defeating the second wave of yokai will summon Ryomen Sukuna. Be careful of Ryomen Sukuna's elemental attacks and keep your distance from its four arms.
