| 1 |  Fast travel to the Hamamatsu Castle - Terrace shrine and talk to Hattori Hanzo over at the houses nearby. |
| 2 |  Pet and follow the Scampuss Hayatemaru! They will roll down the road, turn left around the house, jump down the ledge, and along the valley. |
| 3 | Hayatemaru will lead you right into an ambush against two of Hattori Hanzo's underlings. Defeat them and keep following Hayatemaru down the road. |
| 4 | Another ambush, this time with three underlings, will be waiting at the crossroads. One of the underlings will be an archer, so watch out for their arrows! |
| 5 |  Keep following Hayatemaru into a closed off area, where Hattori Hanzo will be waiting. Defeat Hattori Hanzo in combat! |
| 6 | After defeating him, talk to Hattori Hanzo to end the mission. |
