Explore the Map and Defeat Enemies
Before committing to dedicated farming spots, make sure to explore the province or area you are in. Defeating regular and elite enemies along the way will naturally reward you with better weapons and armor, making you stronger while also providing a significant number of Amrita and levels early on.
Turn On Auto-Pickup for Faster Looting
Enabling Auto Pick-up is extremely helpful when farming, as it removes the need to constantly press a button while looting. It is useful throughout the game, since any extra loot can later be sold for additional Amrita.
Recover Your Grave ASAP If You Die
Recovering your Grave safely should be your top priority after dying to not permanently lose your Amrita. Spend Amrita as soon as you have enough to level up to not risk losing it again later.
Kill Enemies Near Shrines for Amrita Farm
Enemies that respawn near Shrines are an excellent source of Amrita farm and loot. You can simply return to or fast travel to a Shrine to respawn them, defeat the enemies again, and rinse and repeat.
Some equipment Effects provides small, passive boosts to Amrita gains when equipped, so check if you have any to put on before farming for a little boost.
Replay Crucible Battle Scrolls
The first Crucible you encounter toward the end of the demo is an excellent farming spot. Defeat all enemies along the path to the boss, especially the larger, yellow-glowing Yokai, as they reward a high amount of Amrita.
These areas are effective for farming because they can be replayed after beating them. After completing it once, you can replay the Crucible an unlimited number of times using the Battle Scroll mechanic at Shrines. There are also Checkpoints inside just in case you die.
If you are up for a greater challenge and have a strong character, you can also farm the boss, Jakotsu-baba, at the end for even more Amrita. Alternatively, you can fast travel back to the starting Shrine and repeat the run, clearing enemies along the way to earn thousands of Amrita each time.
Offer Excess Loot at Shrines for Amrita
After much farming and exploration, you will accumulate a large stash of low-level weapons and armor that won't be used. To sell these for extra Amrita, visit any Shrine, open the "Preparations" tab, and select "Make an Offering".
From here, you can offer unwanted items, especially duplicate or generic gear, in exchange for Amrita to spend for levels.
Pledge with the Toyotomi Clan for Amrita Boost
Once you reach the Heian era, you will get an opportunity to pledge with a clan. For farming, the Toyotomi clan is best for leveling faster since they grant you a +5% bonus to Amrita earned.

Level Up Stats Based on Your Weapon Scaling
As you level up, prioritize the main Stats of your preferred weapons to increase your damage and farm even faster. Since level-up costs rise with every level, dealing more damage allows you to farm Amrita better and keep up with the increasing costs!
Level up as soon as possible without overthinking it, as you can easily respec your Stats at any Shrine through the level-up menu if you decide to switch it up later.
