*Break and Block stats are consistent for all weapons of the same type regardless of rarity.
Despite its high Ki usage per swing, the Axe is an amazing Samurai weapon precisely because the trade-off is that it does absurd amounts of damage per hit when built properly.
Its high Break stat also means you'll be staggering small to medium enemies out of their animations reliably, making it a good weapon for general exploration. Just make sure to get some crowd control martial arts from its tree in case you get mobbed.
