![]() Follow the road north until you run into Hattori Hanzo. Talk to him, and then head down the road and past a wooden bridge to get to a shrine you can activate.
![]() Turn right at the shrine and keep following the road at the edge of the water. Note that a false rock wall will be in the way right before an incline leading into enemy lines.
![]() Behind the wall, enter the ruined house to the right and go out the other side. This should lead you to a closed gate that leads back outside the castle. You can open this gate to serve as a shortcut later!
Follow the path around the houses, past empty stables and down two sets of ladders into the trenches. You can keep following the path all the way upwards to the next settlement.
![]() Follow the path between the rundown houses until you get to the ladder that will take you up onto the walls and roofs. This will let you get into the second floor of a stone building, then down to the shrine in its enclosed yard.
Keep following the road out of the settlement and down two sets of ladders again. Be careful of the rolling boulders released by an enemy as you make your way through the trenches.
![]() You'll come across a courtyard with several enemies and the boss Anayama Nobutada. Defeat all enemies in the courtyard to proceed.
![]() After defeating the enemies, go inside the house and through the hole on the left, to find a new path. This will lead you to another shrine!
From the shrine, go up the stone steps and into a small yard. Keep following the stone stairs and paths into courtyard with a shrine. Note that if you go down one set of stone stairs from the shrine, there's a false wall to the right that leads to a hot spring!
![]() From the shrine, head into the entrance on the left and then past an enemy on horseback up the stairs on the right, which should lead you into a hole in the wall. You can open the door directly to the left to use as a shortcut in the future.
![]() Follow the corridor to the end, where you can open a set of doors and confront Baba Nobuharu, which you have to defeat! Watch out for his tail attacks and illusion feints. ▶︎ How to Beat Baba Nobuharu
![]() After defeating Baba Nobuhara, Hattori Hanzo and Nakane Masateru will appear at the door. Talk to them to proceed.
