Objective 1: Make Your Way Toward the Mikatagahara Battlefield

| 1 |  The Battle of Mikatagahara's recommended level is level 43. You have the chance to raise your level before going to the battlefield for the mission. |
| 2 |  You can follow the road from the Stone Buddha Path shrine or use the path from the red gate to get to the Mikatagahara Battlefield. |
| 3 | Once you enter the battlefield, a cutscene will play out, then you will be met with Hattori Hanzo in front of a shrine. |
Objective 2: A Fiery Invasion

| 1 |  Follow Hattori Hanzo into the battlefield and make your way to the north end of the camp, where another shrine will be located. Note that there will be many enemy soldiers and yokai along the way. |
| 2 |  From the shrine, you can head left and up the hill to the wooden double doors, which you can open for the next cutscene. There will also be a nearby ladder you can lower to get to the shrine faster. |
| 3 |  Fight and defeat Yamagata Masakage, who will now be on horseback and has become a powerful yokai. ▶︎ How to Beat Yamagata Masakage in Yokai Form |
| 4 |  After the emergence of the Crucible, you can head out of the north exit of the arena to get to the Crucible entrance. Remember to prepare yourself and pray to a shrine before entering the Crucible. |
| 5 |  Once inside the Crucible, there will be a Bodhisattva statue immediately to your left you can pray to. Avoid the black and white smoke, as they would immediately kill you. |
| 6 |  From the Bodhisattva statue, go with the left path. Be careful of yokai that may come out of hiding. Cross the lava river using the large wooden ramp and turn right, passing over a partly-sunken house. |
| 7 |  Past the house, follow the path around the stone outcrops until you get to the side with lower ledges. Jump up to get to a stone path which you can follow north. |
| 8 |  At the end of the ledge, jump down to go through a burning house. Watch out for the yokai hiding inside. |
| 9 |  On the other end of the house will be a lit by Kusanagi's light. Once again, lamps will light the way to indicate you're going in the right direction! |
| 10 |  Use the platform where the lamp is to get across the lava river and into a tent, where Nakane Masateru is fighting some yokai. Talk to Nakane Masateru and he will give you a Power Pill. |
| 11 |  Jump up the stone ledge to Nakane Masateru's left and cross the lava river using the roof and platforms to get to the next lamp. |
| 12 |  Go into the building beside the lamp and up the stairs to the rooftop, where there will be a wooden bridge leading to a Bodhisattva statue. Honda Tadakatsu is also there |
| 13 |  From the statue, if you head north and up a ledge, then to the right around a large tent, you'll come across a smaller tent where Sakakibara Yasumasa is fighting enemies. If you help him out and talk to him, he will give you Daion - Jin's Sake. If you exit from the other end and follow the path up more ledges, you will eventually reach a hot spring! |
| 14 |  To continue the main mission, head straight past the tent and to the left, which will lead you to an open area where a yokai is hurling rocks at you. Use the wooden structures to avoid getting hit, and head left. |
| 15 |  The next lamp is beside a wooden bridge. Cross the bridge and keep heading straight until you get to another lamp. |
| 16 |  Past this lamp, the path curves and heads into an open area with a steady incline and several yokai. |
| 17 |  Another lamp marks the way upwards to a large wooden bridge and a Bodhisattva statue. Pray to the statue before continuing. |
| 18 |  Across the bridge, a large tent and a cutscene awaits. You will need to defeat Takeda Shingen to continue. Watch out for his combo attacks and don't get caught by his weapon! ▶︎ How to Beat Takeda Shingen |
| 19 | Cleanse the Mikatagahara Crucible and continue to the next scenes. Afterwards, speak with Ii Naotora. |
| 20 | Fast travel back to Hamamatsu Castle and talk to Tagekawa Ieyasu to complete this mission. |
