How To Get Mii from Access Key Codes

What To Do In-Game
Checkmark.pngAt the title screen, select "Mii characters"
Checkmark.pngOpen up the menu and select "Add Mii characters"
Checkmark.pngSelect "Receive"
Checkmark.pngSelect "Access key"
Checkmark.pngEnter the shared access key.
Checkmark.pngChoose the Mii you want and select "Receive"

Nintendo Switch Online Needed

In order to get Access Key Codes, you must first have a paid subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. Monthly subscription is currently priced at the following ranges:

Get Access Key Codes

After getting the paid subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, you are going to need the access key code itself. You can find them on forums and social media such as Twitter by searching the terms 'Access Key Code' or 'Miitopia'. You can also check our site's Mii Sharing Board to find other players' access key code!

Getting Your Mii In The Game

Once making sure you your subscription and code set, to get your Mii, go to the title screen and choose Mii characters.

A new screen will pop up showing you all of your current Mii's. Press X to open up the menu and choose Add Mii characters.

You will then be prompted to put in the access key code in the next screen.

Once confirmed the access key code will then bring you to the user's available Mii's. Choose one and select Receive.
