After getting the paid subscription to Nintendo Switch Online, you are going to need the access key code itself. You can find them on forums and social media such as Twitter by searching the terms 'Access Key Code' or 'Miitopia'. Getting Your Mii In The Game

Select "Mii characters" at the title screen

Once making sure you your subscription and code set, to get your Mii, go to the title screen and choose Mii characters.

Select "Add Mii characters"

A new screen will pop up showing you all of your current Mii's. Press X to open up the menu and choose Add Mii characters.

Select "Receive"

Next, choose Receive (the one with the Wifi symbol).

Select "Access key

From the next menu, choose Access key.

Enter shared access key code

You will then be prompted to put in the access key code in the next screen.

Select "Receive"

Once confirmed the access key code will then bring you to the user's available Mii's. Choose one and select Receive.

Select "Mii characters"

In the title screen, pick up the Mii characters to begin.

Select "Sharing settings"

Press X to open up the menu and choose Sharing settings.

Select "Share with all"

In the next menu, choose Share with all to automatically generate an access key.

You can turn off your Mii sharing settings anytime in the previous menu by picking Don't share.
