Methods to Get Equipment
Buy at an Inn
There are four methods to get equipment in Miitopia, one of which is to buy it at an Inn. An equipment icon will be displayed above a Mii if they want to buy something.
Your Mii's wants are random, but when it comes to Weapons and Outfits, they don't want to purchase specific equipment until they reach a certain level for that equipment. In rare cases, they might buy HP Bananas and MP Candies by mistake and will return the rest of your money to you.

Win at the Roulette
In the Game Corner, you can play the Roulette to win equipment for any random Mii. The prizes become more luxurious as you progress through the story, so it's better to play late to get better equipment.

Loot From Large Chests
You can get equipment from large treasure chests, but once you've reached a certain level in the game, you will get Gold instead of equipment.
If you want to farm for Gold in the future, it is recommended to save the chests until you've reached a certain level, as gold is more valuable than weapons and armor since they are relatively inexpensive.

You can also get equipment from doing various quests in the game. Most quests are the same, which in this case is clearing a temporary dungeon.

Equipment Cannot Be Shared Within the Party
You Can Purchase the Same Equipment from the Catalog
You cannot share the equipment your Mii has with another Mii within your party. Instead, you can purchase the same equipment using the Catalog function which is accessible later in the game. Take note that the level requirement of the equipment remains the same, regardless of the Job.

The level requirement for each equipment is set. Regardless of your Mii's Job, it's recommended to just get the equipment instead since they are proportional to the Mii's level.

Grind Until You Get Your Preferred Equipment
As mentioned earlier, your Mii's wants are randomly determined. Every time you clear an area and enter the Inn, the equipment you will get is updated. If you're waiting out on an item, keep clearing the sage until you get your preferred equipment.
