Restarting in Miitopia

Restarting Is Only Possible By Deleting Save Data

Miitopia doesn't provide players with an option to replay their progress or start with a new game. If players want to restart their playthrough, they'll have to do it from the Nintendo Switch's System Settings. Luckily, our guide below will show you how easy it is to do so!

Steps on Deleting Your Save Data

On the Nintendo Switch's Home Menu, open System Settings.

Scroll down to Data Management and then select Delete Sava Data.

Select Miitopia.

Choose which profile you want its save data deleted.

Press Delete Save Data to begin wiping your save data.

Once the process is done, you can now launch Miitopia and have a fresh start with the game!

Can You Create Multiple Saves?

Yes, like most Switch games, you can create multiple saves on the same Switch by using a separate user profile. However, you will still need to link a Nintendo Switch Online account to the user profile if you want to use Miitopia's online features.

Will My Miis Also Get Deleted?

Unfortunately, your Miis will also get deleted if you delete your save data. If you want to keep your Miis, we recommend making a separate Switch user profile instead and use Access Keys to transfer your Mii designs to your new save.
