    Choosing which sibling you save first determines who runs the shop AND which type of quests you get. If you save Buildit first, your quests will be around making new gloves. If you save Maykit first your quests will be around making new accessories.

    Yeah most split paths just determine what upgrade you get sooner or some aesthetic like which sibling runs the shop. The one that makes arguably the biggest gameplay difference is choosing to let Peach or Luigi get kidnapped and only because of EXP management.
