Honey is produced in two easy steps. One, get the Beekeeping development node; and two, build an Apiary.
Acquire the Beekeeping Development branch in order to unlock the Apiary as a building. It costs 1 Development node, and the earliest you can get a node is by reaching Small Village status.

If you have a surplus of Regional Wealth, you can opt to build a Trading Post and import Honey directly. This can help supply Honey to your burgage plots, especially if your settlement already has 2 Apiaries.

Trade Logistics allows you to open new trade routes for a maximum of 25 Regional Wealth. On the other hand, Better Deals gets you a discount on export prices.
