The Improved Icerail offers the best offensive capabilities for its weapons class. It is easily one of the best weapons in the game. Getting this weapon as early as you can is highly recommended!

You can upgrade your Banuk Icerail by completing the Geared Up: Icerail side quest in the Frozen Wilds.

This ammo may not deal damage, but will be very effective against Daemonic Machines in the Frozen Wilds DLC. With its high Freeze severity, most enemies will be left frozen in their tracks.
