Saphira Gardner Review

Saphira Gardner is a pilot who can find value in a wide variety of mobile suits. Her biggest buffs are stacking 40% ranged sense buffs on dealing damage that each max out at 3 stacks or 120%. These two buffs are granted to Prototype and High Firepower units, which are some of the most common unit category tags in the game. She also grants 38% ranged sense buffs to Green and Red-type units and Generic or Sniper category mobile suits. That said, she'll do a decent job as a substitute pilot in almost every unit that falls under the Prototype and High Firepower unit category tags. Additionally, it's very easy to stack her buffs given that she just needs 3 stacks, so having multi-hit weapons isn't really necessary.

Saphira also grants two 13% EX damage buffs to Successor Units and Transforming Units, and EX damage buffs are quite rare. However, while these are surely nice to have, prioritize the ranged sense buffs over the EX damage buffs when looking for a substitute MS for Saphira. Last but not least, Saphira grants two 10% accuracy buffs to Gundam-Type and EFF-Affiliated mobile suits.

Overall, Saphira is a fine substitute pilot for any High Firepower Prototype unit, and an excellent pilot for her signature MS.

Saphira grants all her buffs to the Theta Plus, drastically improving its damage output by giving it 312% ranged sense and 26% more EX damage, making it an even deadlier mobile suit with an even more potent AoE nuke as an EX skill. She also grants it 20% more accuracy, bringing the total to 95%, assuming all their buffs are active.
