How to Use the Battle Log - Gundam UC Engage

The Battle Log is an important tool in analyzing matches and having an in-depth look at everything that occurred in a battle. Read on to learn about the battle log, how to use it, and why you should be using it.

The battle log is a section in the postgame Damage Report that provides players with an in-depth look at a concluded battle that they were a part of. Here, you could find all the events that happened in a match, with semi-specific timings of every 5 seconds. You could even filter out the events to involve just one of your units.

This feature shows you when your units use their EX skill, how much damage they do with their attacks, how much HP they restore, when they evade, when they use their buffs, when they die, and almost everything else that transpired in a match. These events are arranged in order and though you won't see the exact time the event happened, you'll still get a pretty good idea of when these happened since these are divided and grouped every 5 seconds.

Why Should I Use The Battle Log Feature?

Using the Battle Log feature can help you figure out what your team needs, where you're lacking, and what you have to do to win more battles.

One of its best uses is how you're able to see around when your units use their EX skills, how often they get to, and if they die before they're able to do so. A unit's most powerful attack or skill effect is usually their EX Skill, and you want it being fired as often as possible, and definitely at least once per match. If a unit dies before it fires off its EX, you might want to consider beefing it up, positioning it somewhere else, or outright replacing the unit.

The same could be said about almost everything else this feature shows. It tells you everything you need to know to improve your team and start winning. If you see that a unit isn't doing as much damage as you want, maybe you forgot to increase its Custom Lv. or if not, opt to improve its damage with Unit Enhancement and modules.

Do your MS's attacks miss enemies too often? Boost your MS' accuracy or deploy an anti-evasion unit. Your key unit died right away? Work on your positioning. Notice a specific mobile suit giving you problems multiple times already? Maybe you have a counter you can try using. The list goes on, and it's up to you to learn what you can from your past battles.

Use this feature as a tool to improve as a Gundam U.C. Engage player. Losing happens a lot, but it's much better to learn from losing battles and trying to work on whatever cost you that loss versus not even bothering to know why you lost in the first place.
