In the post-game, you can obtain three (3) powerful weapons by you defeating certain bosses in a post-game rematch.

Post-game bosses are signifcantly stronger than their main story counterparts. Make sure to prepare!

How to Unlock Post-Game

Complete the Main Story

The post-game of Super Mario RPG Remake is unlocked by completing the main story, which requires defeating Smithy, the final boss found in his Weapon World.

You will need to visit the second room in Star Hill to learn about the wishes of the rematch bosses from the pink stars, signalling the start of post-game.

There are a total of seven bosses that you can rematch in the game. These bosses are much stronger in the rematch, with them having higher health and dealing higher damage to your party, with some able to take out your team in a single move without proper preparation.
