The Monstro Town Key is an item found on the roof of a house in Super Mario RPG Remake. Read on to learn how to get the Monstro Town Key, as well as how and where to use it.

In Monstro Town, you will come across a key on the roof of a house. Head inside and talk to the friendly Thwomp 7 times. Talking to the Thwomp will cause its movements inside the house to make the key fall to the floor where you can easily grab it.
If you talk to the Thwomp too many times, the Key will fall off the map, but not to worry, since the key will only return to the top of the roof again when you leave the area and return.
The Monstro Town Key is not necessary to progress through the game, but you should grab it while you're in Monstro Town to unlock the Treasure Room in Belome's Temple.
The Monstro Town Key can be used to get past the living golden statue of Belome by the treasure room in Belome Temple.
To access the treasure room, you'll need to descend the elevator when the fortune says Sorry, I don't accept guests past my bedtime. If you get a fortune which says Mmm, I'm so hungry! Wish I had something to eat!, leave the room and return to get a new fortune until you get the one which leads to the treasure room.
Once inside the Treasure Room, you can collect Big Flowers, Frog Coins, and other items that can aid you in your journey!
