Action Course 1

Room 1: Platforms on Lava

The first room in the first action course is just simple square platforms moving back and forth on top of lava. Just jump carefully from platform to platform until you reach the end.

You can find a chest at the end of the top platform.

Room 2: Balancing on Iron Ball

In the second room in this action course, you'll find an iron ball that you have to balance over, with Bob-ombs roaming the whole floor. Jump over the iron ball, then carefully move it until you reach the end. Aside from coins, there are a lot of pillars with chests above them throughout the room. Approach these pillars while on the iron ball, then jump to the chests, most of which have good items in them.

The movement controls are reversed when you're on the iron ball, and a workaround for this is to turn your controller upside down. Be cautious when trying to jump while moving to collect coins or reach pillars, as you'll be jumping in the opposite direction, which could lead to accidentally touching the Bob-ombs.

Room 3: Orbiting Platforms

The third room is another room with platforms over lava, but this time the only platforms are the two that orbit each other and only move when you're stepping on them.

Just be patient and wait when the other platform is at the correct place to jump to reach the end. There are a bunch of good items scattered throughout the room, but just ignore them if you're having a lot of difficulty not falling.

Action Course 2

Room 1: Invisible Pathway

The first room in this action course is also a room of lava, but this time it's all invisible pathways. Be patient and watch when they appear, remember where the paths are, and stop and wait again when you no longer know where to go.

Room 2: Platforms on Lava

The next room is another room full of lava, with the typical platforms going back and forth. Just jump carefully from platform to platform until you reach the end.

Room 3: Rolling Barrels

The final room is a room where barrels are rolling down from a much higher floor. Hide beside the tiny elevated platforms since the barrels jump and will miss you when you're there. Wait for an opening when there aren't a lot of barrels coming at you to proceed.

Choose Correct Door Among Six Doors

Deep in Bowser's Keep, past Croco, you'll encounter the Trial Course, where you have to pick between six doors; each door is either an action course, a battle course, or a puzzle course, with two of each course type. You'll progress once you complete four different doors.

There's no way to tell which one is the action course, so you'll simply have to be lucky in choosing. However, if you finish a course, it will get marked, so just keep picking new, unmarked doors until you get a action course.
