Basic Info

Lotus is a guild that's open to all, where members are encouraged to show their "full potential" as their in-game ad says. Quite fitting considering that the goal of their members is to play to get stronger. Game8 spoke to their guild master, Mysterious, about what got them in the game, what their guild is like, and the tips they can offer to new players.

Pay More Attention to Character Skills

When asked what advice they would've given to themselves at first when starting the game, Mysterious said that they would've paid more attention to the skills of different witches. "I would've focused on different characters from the beginning if I had," they said. "I didn't get Florence till months later but I would've focused on her more. And my Luna is still only SR."

Florence and Lunalynn are two powerful units, with one being an attacker capable of making more attacks the more critical hits she lands, and the other being capable of casting Silence on the majority of the enemy party (also based on whether or not she lands a critical hit).

Knowing how a witch's skills work (and how well they work with other witches) is one of the best ways of playing MementoMori. This involves teambuilding, as well as an understanding of which units you should invest in to maximize your team's damage potential and end battles quickly.

Mysterious: World 3 Could Use a World Merge

Though Lotus itself is a thriving guild that's currently within the top five strongest guilds of World 3 with a full membership roster, Mysterious says that World 3 could use a shake-up when it comes to player count.

"There's healthy competition for about 200 players," Mysterious said. "I feel like W3 is behind a lot of other worlds, even ones after like (World 8). I hope eventually there's a world merge."

Merging worlds or servers is a usual practice in online games where players in one world or server are joined with others to maintain player population and keep a sense of community and competition alive. That way, many guilds remain active and more people take on the Battle League and other PvP modes.

Lotus Helps Active Players

Lotus says its members help each other out, with Mysterious saying they especially help active new players. "My guild is like a family, and we help each other out," they said. "

If you're a member of a guild, keeping active can be easy as most members only need to participate in Guild Raids to gather more Guild Stock. Depending on the guild themselves, members may sometimes have to participate in Guild Battles to secure territory for their guild.

In exchange, however, players gain access to a community of other players who not only have advice on how to play the game but also to get Friend Medals from and even support for Fountain of Prayers dispatch missions.
