Strategy Against Reclusiff
Only Jump attacks will work on Reclusiff as it hovers, though all of its attacks can be countered when timed properly.
Attack Pattern 1
| Spins, then flies toward Mario and Luigi multiple times. | |
| How to Dodge | Time either brother's jump as it flies toward them from the front. |

| How to Counter | Time either brother's jump to land on Reclusiff's head. |
Attack Pattern 2
| Reclusiff flies overhead and drops balls of electricity on both brothers three times. Afterward, it will land on either Mario or Luigi's head. | |
| How to Dodge | This attack cannot be dodged. |

| How to Counter | Time your hammer strikes carefully as the balls of electricity fall on Mario and Luigi. Then, watch where Reclusiff disappears, as it will reappear on the opposite side to attack one of the brothers. Counter by striking it with your hammer at the right moment. |
