The Forgefire is a great weapon if you are aiming to beat the game as fast as possible, but the game offers more powerful Close Range Weapons if you are looking to make the best build.

How to Get Forgefire

The Forgefire is obtained by clearing the only Bandit Camp in the Frozen Wilds DLC, Stone Yield.

Afterwards, it can be exchanged with a Banuk Goods merchant in the Frozen Wilds for:

Flamethrower

While not dealing any damage or tear, your standard flamethrower attack will be effective against Corrupted Machines and machines with Blaze canisters.
