How to Beat Fireclaw: Components and Item Drops
The Fireclaw is a machine enemy in Horizon Zero Dawn that can be found in the Frozen Wilds and deal strong Fire attacks. Read on to learn info which includes Cauldron Override and map locations, item drops, and weaknesses!

How to Beat Fireclaw and Weaknesses
Use Freeze Arrows
The Fireclaw's body is weak against Freeze-based attacks, so use a bow with Freeze Arrows to inflict the Freeze effect to deal extra damage.
Aim for the Fire Sacs and Fire Unit
Destroying these components will cause a Fire explosion and will inflict the Fire effect on the Fireclaw. This is a great way to deal large bursts of damage to take down a Fireclaw quickly. Also note that this will disable the Fireclaw's Fire-based attacks, making it much more predictable.
