How to Beat Stormbird and Weaknesses

Destroy the Engines

The Stormbird has Engines that allow it to pick up speed and deal sweeping attacks against Aloy. To prevent these attacks, breaking each engine will slow it down, making it rely on more standard attacks.

Destroy the Lightning Gun

The Stormbird often uses the Lightning Gun to fire shots from a safe distance. Focus your attacks on this component to disable the Stormbird's projectiles, making it more likely to come down to a distance where you can attack it more easily.
