First playthrough here. Missed it in chapter 9, picked it up in chapter 13.
yes - duh it was the SAME EXACT THING in the original FF7 - why are you fucking surprised if you want your spells to affect multiple foes you need to link it to materia that does that - otherwise they're single target abilities.
I'm certain I didn't pick it up in Chapter 9 but got it somewhere around endgame. I'm not sure if this was because I didn't pick it up before or if there is a second ...
can't believe how range works for this game.. we have to have a materia to expand a range?? really??
Wrong. In Ff7 (original) you need the "all" materia to cast to multiple targets. Magnify is the Remakes version of "all"
All mateera in original(drop like mad in comparison) is magnify materia in remake.
Shouldnt even be a materia imo. Selecting all or single target is a basic feature of spells in final fantasies.
Must have for grinding. Also useful for boss fights.
It says chapter 9. Sector 6. Actually
can you get another one beside from chapter 9?
It's actually picked up in Chapter 9 not 6.
Definitely a must have. Specially when you're gonna start grinding for post game.
