They mean that you have to finish off enemies using the weapon's skill. The amount of enemies to slay depends on each weapon proficiency.
I'm curious about the statement "Finish off an enemy" for Mythril Saber bonus. What do you mean? I can finish off an enemy with one hit? Is that how it works?

That is incorrect, e.g. you have AP UP. And a lot of new Materia you just unlock as you progress. But you have to play a decent bit of the game.
Which weapons are the best to prioritize for each character?
No weapon AP multipliers, few materia slots, and few materia's to work with. Guess we'll have to follow part 1's linearity. Hope the game gets wider during part 2.
So, which weapons are ideal for which situations? Which weapon to upgrade to get a specific result?
Thank God!!! I can reset upgrades. Afraid I couldn't, would be a waste if it doesn't give that option.
