A commander in the Earth Federation's special operations group ECOAS, Daguza Mackle is an experienced soldier ready to use even the most underhanded of tactics in ECOAS' mission to root out Neo-Zeon remnants from the Earth Sphere. However, he still retains a sense of honor (especially toward children) and is willing to put his own life on the line if it means accomplishing his mission - even if he has to fight mobile suits without one of his own. Eventually, he would become pivotal in Unicorn Gundam pilot Banagher Links' battle with Full Frontal.
