Celine Rom Review

Celine is a rather niche unit in the sense that she has plenty of low-impact buffs that can be granted to plenty of units, and her strongest buffs require her mobile suit to be below half their HP to activate, which isn't really ideal.

She grants a 38% ranged sense buff each to Red, First Neo Zeon War, Newtype Machine, and Successor Units. 154% ranged sense buffs are also granted to Rival Units and Black Mobile Suits, though these require the MS to be below 50% HP to activate.

Generic units get 10% accuracy for the entire match, while Qubeley-Type mobile suits get a 41% accuracy buff when below half HP.

Overall, it's quite difficult to find a mobile suit that can really make use of Celine's abilities. She's not a weak pilot considering that these buffs definitely add up, which we'll talk about more in the Signature Mobile Suit section of this analysis, but she's definitely not a flexible pilot that can be used across plenty of different mobile suits.

The Awakened Magna Martell is the only mobile suit that can really showcase Celine Rom's true power. Celine grants 152% ranged sense for the entire match, but when the mobile suit falls below 50% HP, which it actually wants considering that plenty of its key buffs also need this condition fulfilled, it gets an additional 308% ranged sense.

Once this happens, Celine grants a total of 460%, which is a huge amount of ranged sense. She also grants 10% accuracy for the entire match, but 41% is added when below half HP. When this happens, the duo will have a combined 150% accuracy, which allows them to deal with even the most evasive of threats barring Absolute Evade.
