Bandai Namco has just revealed on Twitter(X) that an "Amuro and Char" game mode will be coming to Gundam UC Engage. Read on to learn more about the Amuro and Char mode and what we can expect from it.

Relive the Story of the Fated Rivals
The reveal trailer for the Amuro and Char Mode was shared by the Gundam UC Engage's official Twitter (X) account last October 29, 2024. This event mode will center around the story of these two fated rivals who have undoubtedly made significant impacts on the Universal Century.
Based on what was released in the Japanese servers, the game mode will include several episodes that center around the two rivals and include animated cutscenes as well. The series is confirmed to cover their first encounter in U.C. 0079 during the One Year War, though it's also quite safe to assume that it'll go all the way through to the end of their stories in Char's Counterattack.
There are also potential differences from established Universal Century canon such as Char or Amuro using new mobile suits or mobile suit variants, as well as entirely new cutscenes using material from other works set in the Universal Century featuring Char and Amuro such as Hi-Streamer.
New Mobile Suits and Pilots
Once this game mode comes along, it's likely that the game will also release new units related to the game mode to mark its arrival, like versions of Char's and Amuro's signature mobile suits, as well as different variations of the pilots as well.
Players Might Win Diamonds, Other Rewards
Because both the Story Mode and the Story Events reward players with up to 90 Diamonds for every mission, it's also very likely that you can earn Diamonds from the Amuro and Char Mode missions as well, on top of other potential rewards.
