Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage started the brand-new World Raid event on July 17, 2024. It's set to run until July 24, 2024, 10:59 a.m. Japan Standard Time.
Gundam U.C. Engage's World Raid mode tasks players with beating a world boss by defeating it in individual missions. Every player will deal a set amount of damage to the boss' global HP, so all players will have to work together to defeat it.
There are multiple World Raid stages to choose from, in increasing order of difficulty. The higher the World Raid mission is, the more Combat Power the raid boss will have. But you'll also deal more global damage once you defeat it.
You'll have to defeat the boss within a time limit. If you end up running out of time, get defeated by the boss, or quit the match, then the damage your party dealt to the boss in battle will not be dealt to its global HP.
Even after the World Raid boss has been defeated, you can still play the event's individual quests for EXP and rewards. In addition to achievement rewards, you can also get rewards for the total damage all players have dealt to the boss, as well as rewards for the damage you've dealt to it by yourself.
The World Raid boss is a Purple-type [M0034] Gundam. Since it's a Generic mobile suit, it doesn't have any category weaknesses. So you'll have to field a party of mostly Yellow-type Mobile Suits and take advantage of the type advantage you'll have instead.
Units like Char's Z'Gok and the Zeta Gundam will be useful in this battle. Also, since the fight has a 60-second time limit, don't hesitate to use mobile suits that have buffs that have a 30-second high-performance window (like increased Evasion, etc.).
