Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope - Barren Gateway Walkthrough Step 1
Fast travel to the WM ARC spaceship and head north to the broken road where the Riptides are located.

Head east towards the roaming Magikoopa and head to the incline slope.

Use the Wave ability on the triangular floor tile next to the Rabbid to form a purple bridge.

Head up the slope on the northern side.

Use Zephyrquake to push away the enemies behind the Heroes. Those that survive will spawn a few blocks away from the Heroes, making it possible for you to take cover.

Instead of rushing to the opposite end of the area, have one long-range Hero Team Jump on higher ground and snipe the approaching enemies. Have the two mid-range Heroes take them out using Dashes or weapon attacks.
Note: You can skip your turn to let the enemies move in close to your location and take them out as they approach your area.
