Barren Gateway is a Side Quest in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (Mario Rabbids 2). Read on for a walkthrough of the quest, including rewards, location, and how to complete it.

| 1 |  Fast travel to the WM ARC spaceship and head north to the broken road where the Riptides are located. |
| 2 |  Head east towards the roaming Magikoopa and head to the incline slope. |
| 3 |  Use the Wave ability on the triangular floor tile next to the Rabbid to form a purple bridge. |
| 4 |  Head up the slope on the northern side. |
| 5 |  Open the door on the house on top of the slope. |
| 6 |  Talk to Madame Bwahstrella to start the side quest. |
| 7 |  Use Zephyrquake to push away the enemies behind the Heroes. Those that survive will spawn a few blocks away from the Heroes, making it possible for you to take cover. |
| 8 |  Instead of rushing to the opposite end of the area, have one long-range Hero Team Jump on higher ground and snipe the approaching enemies. Have the two mid-range Heroes take them out using Dashes or weapon attacks. Note: You can skip your turn to let the enemies move in close to your location and take them out as they approach your area. |

Use Rabbid Mario as your close-range attacker to take out enemies with half-health. Be careful not to use him to defeat Deep Freezes as the enemies use a Frostbite counterattack upon defeat. |
