Use Covers to Avoid Enemy Projectiles

Full Cover can block incoming damage, while Partial Cover has a 50% chance of blocking incoming attacks. Both covers will be destroyed upon taking continous damage. Do note that both heroes and enemies can use cover to defend themselves

You Can Vault Over Partial Cover

Partial Cover can be vaulted over in order to add a little distance from your enemies or sneak behind them. Make use of this skill when the time demands it.

Use Jump Pads if You Can't Perform Team Jump

Jump pads allow your hero to go mid-air without the help of an ally. This can be used if no ally is near for you to perform a team jump. Remeber that the time limit for team jump is the same when using a Jump Pad.

Shooting elemental barrels can inflict damage in a wide area. It can be maximized by using a spark for an additional elemental reaction.

Use Your Enemies Against Them

Dash through a small flipabble enemy unit to render them immobile, pick them and throw them towards a certain enemy to deal damage. Goombas can inflict a single unit damage, while Bob-ombs inflict AoE damage. If you throw a Bob-omb towards another Bob-omb or a group of Bob-ombs you can trigger multiple explosions at once.

Attack Your Enemies While in Mid-air

Mario has a unique skill where he can stomp enemies multiple times and can shoot while he is in mid-air which can be used to attack enemies on higher ground.
