2. Find a path leading to the top of the Mountain. 3. Clear the Darkmess Puddle blocking the path. 4. Keep following the path up the Mountain. 5. Clear the path of the Darkmess Puddle. 6. Make the final push to the summit. 7. Eliminate the Darkmess Tentacle. |
Quest Walkthrough
| Step-by-Step Guide | |

| 1 |  Upon arrival to Pristine Peaks, follow the pathing leading to the moving tree and shake it to meet the Spark Decibel. |
| 2 |  With Beep-0's newly acquired Wave ability, knock down the series of walls to progress to the next area by pressing the ZR button until you find yourself blocked by a Darkmess Puddle. |
| 2 |  Freeze in Your Tracks (Battle Quest) Reach the designated area and unlock Cryobolide by clearing a path by throwing Bob-ombs at your enemies and utilizing the pipes for movement! Note: Deep Freezes are weak against burn and let out an area-of-effect frostbite attack upon defeat, which restricts Heroes' movement when hit. |
| 3 |  Follow the path up the mountain and push towards the summit with the help of Beep-0's Wave ability up until you are blocked by a Darkmess Puddle. Note: Take the time to level up your Sparks now that their max levels are now bumped up to three! |
| 4 |  Wolf at the Floor (Battle Quest) Using units with good range, take down all 10 enemies. Note that enemies can sometimes snipe you if they detect movement within their range, so be sure to always take cover and make use of elevations. Note: Beating this Quest unlocks the Spark Ethering! |
| 5 |  After beating the battle quest, make your way to the summit. You'll need to use Beep-0's Sonic Wave ability again to get through caves. |
| 6 |  Icy Breath of Winter (Battle Quest) During this battle quest players have to destroy the Stone Mask. These Stone Masks can push you back so only move when they are not blowing gusts of wind. You can take them down swiftly by throwing Bob-ombs at them and having long-ranged Heroes like Luigi in your party. Note: This Quest unlocks the ability to equip two Sparks in battle. Be sure to take advantage of this new feature! |
| 7 |  After taking down the Darkmess Tentacle, you will receive a Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal alongside the Spark Electroid. |
Keep following the path up the Mountain

| 1 |  Enter the cave and head to the upper level to find the exit. After you exit the cave using Beep-0's sonic powers on two blocks, players will come across a rope bridge. Walk across it until you reach the crossroad of bridges in the center. |
| 2 |  Walk across the bridge with the lamp at its entrance. There should be a cave on the other side. |
| 3 |  Enter the cave. You'll find a series of blocks that can be moved with the Beep-0's sonic powers. Go to the block in the corner in the far right, next to the ladder. Lower that to move to the rightmost area of the cave. |
| 4 |  Before leaving that block however, raise it again once you've crossed to the other side. Players will need it to move to the exit. |
| 5 | 
Proceed forward to where the pipe is and enter. This will take you to the next floor. |
| 6 |  Walk across the block you raised again to head to the back center area where the exit is. There will be a trail of coins leading to the exit. |
| 7 |  The cave's exit will be at the other end of that trail. Exit the cave. |
| 8 |  Players will find themselves in a snow clearing with a path marked by some red cloths. Follow that path. |
| 9 |  At the end of the path, you'll find the next challenge, Wolf at the Floor. |

Make the final push to the summit
| Directions | |

| 1 |  After defeating Wolf at the Floor, the path in front will open up. Move forward and head down the ladder. |
| 2 |  Once down the ladder, keep moving along the path and turn right at a path that's opposite a rope bridge blocked by ice. |
| 3 |  Keep heading down this path until you reach a cave at the other end. Enter the cave. |
| 4 |  Upon entering the cave there will be a block on the other end. Move that block with Beep-0's sonic powers to the right. |
| 5 |  If you move forward and to the right, there will be another block in the corner. Use the sonic powers there to reveal the pipe then enter it. |
| 6 |  Walk across the block you moved over to the pipe on the other side, enter it to get to the next floor. |
| 7 |  Use the sonic powers on the block to the right to turn it into a bridge. Walk across it. |
| 8 |  At the other end, there will be a ladder you can climb down. Lower it then climb down. |
| 9 |  Go back to the lowest floor and this time move the block to the left side. |
| 10 |  Go back through the pipe to the second level then up the ladder. |
| 11 |  Cross the bridge and go back down the pipe on the other side. |
| 12 |  Now the path to the left side will be accessible through the block. Walk across it and the exit on the left side should be there. Use the exit. |
| 13 |  Follow the path until you get to the pipe. Use it to get to the lower level. |
| 14 |  Continue walking up the path following the trail of coins. There should be a teleport point on the way. |
| 15 |  At the end of the path there should be your next challenge, Icy Breath of Winter. |
