Quest Walkthrough
| Step-by-Step Guide | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  After Edge and Spark Exosphere joins your party, head outside the temple and enter the Lighthouse and head towards the guard protecting the Darkmess Egg. |
| 2 |  Light Your Fire (Battle Quest) Ignore the Wildclaw at the ground floor of the arena and focus on taking out the Flamin' Stooges first. Note: If you brought along Edge paired with Spark Exosphere, be sure to take cover from the Flamin' Stooges as Edge will be weak to fire. |
| 3 |  After defeating the guard, Dash over to the Darkmess Egg and throw it to the Darkmess Eye. Afterwards, head upstairs. |
| 4 |  On the second floor, move the crate next to the Darkmess Eye towards the scratch marks found underneath it. Afterwards, carry the glowing block and place it to the slot next to the Darkmess Eye to move along. |
| 5 |  On the third floor, Dash towards the Darkmess Egg first and throw it to the Darkmess Eye in order to move the crate and clear the path to the top. |
| 6 |  A Light in the Darkmess (Battle Quest) You can speed up this battle by Dashing towards Bob-ombs and utilizing its wide range explosion to take down multiple Darkmess Eyes at once! Note: If you brought along Edge paired with Spark Exosphere, be sure to take cover from the Flamin' Stooges as Edge will be weak to fire. |
| 5 |  After taking down all Darkmess Eyes, you will receive the second Purified Darkmess Energy Crystal alongside the Spark Toxiquake, allowing you to move to the next Planet! Note: Multiple Side Quests will be unlocked at this point. It is recommended to complete them first and explore Beacon Beach first before moving on. |
