In Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (Mario Rabbids 2), running while in the overworld can be done when the X button is pressed and hold. Read on to learn the advantages of running and other helpful tips.

How to Run in the Overworld of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Press and hold the NSW - X button while moving with the NSW - Left AnalogButton.

Press the NSW - X button once to start running then press it again to stop.

Do note that you can choose between the two settings in the options menu.

Helps You Explore The Overworld Faster

Running in the overworld allows you to quickly reach your destination, ideal for those who want to finish multiple quests in one playthrough.

Allows You to Avoid Contact with Enemies

In addition, you can also utilize running to avoid nearby enemies. Use it when youn want to avoid battles.

Can Easily Finish Timed Challenges

Some challenges in the overworld, such as Red Coin Challenges, are timed so learning how to maximize running can greatly help you in finishing the challenge as soon as possible.

Character is Hard to Control

Without enough practice, characters are hard to control when running in the overworld, making exploration difficult.

Running Into Things Will Slow You Down.

Crashing on objects will render your hero immobile momentarily. While the period is brief, this makes you temproarily vulnerable to enemy attacks.
