Darkmess is the physical manifestation of Cursa's powers. It is used by Cursa to control and steal energy from planets and its inhaibtants.

Darkmess Comes in Many Forms

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Darkmess
Darkmess takes on many forms such as Darkmess Eyes, Darkmess Tentacles, Darkmess Puddles, and Darkmess Portals.

Darkmess Eyes

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Darkmess Eyes
Darkmess eyes usually attach themselves to larger beings in order to control them. Destroying Darkmess Eyes will turn the creature back to its normal state.

Darkmess Tentacles

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Darkmess Tentacles
Defeating a Darkmess Tentacles allows you purify its Darkmess Energy and use it to create a Warp Tunnel to your next destination.

Darkmess Puddles

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Darkmess Puddle
Darkmess Puddles are often the location of sidequests, which can reward you with items such as Planet Coins. Make sure to get rid of them when you can.

Darkmess Portals

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Darkmess Portal
Darkmess Portals will occasionally appear during battles and spawn enemies.

How to Destroy Darkmess

Interact with Darkmess by pressing NSW - A
Darkmess 3.png Upon interaction, darkmess will bring you to the arena where you'll need to defeat all enemies to destroy it.

Darkmess will often lead to a battle that requires you to defeat enemies in order to purify it.

Darkmess is scattered throughout every planet that you visit, so make sure to get of rid of it when you see it. As doing so often rewards you with Planet Coins and other items.
