List of Bugs and Gitches

This list of bugs and glitches shows several technical issues found by other players in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope (Mario Rabbids 2). Some can be game-breaking and prevent your from progressing the story. Read on to see the bugs and glitches, as well as how to fix and where to report them.

Rabbid Mechakoopas Frozen in Battle

There are instances when Rabbid Mechakoopas will freeze in battle. This usually happens when they will need to travel through hard-to-navigate terrain, like through pipes or down a cliff.

The only way to fix this bug is to restart the battle entirely, which is unfortunate if you've already made significant progress in the battle. To avoid encountering this bug, refrain from summing Rabbid Mechakoopas in areas where they may find it difficult to navigate.

Battle Screen Fixed on One Spot

After starting a battle, the camera would sometimes repeatedly focus on one spot of the battlefield. Restarting the battle, unfortunately, does not fix the issue. If you leave battle, then come back later on, the camera will remain focused on the same spot. To fix this issue, you must instead restart the software.

Floating Enemies

Some enemies may sometimes appear to float up in the air without jumping or performing other actions. This seems to only be a visual glitch and does not affect gameplay, so you can continue with battle as normal after encountering it.

Uncork the Volcano Main Quest Bug

There is a bug that would sometimes occur while doing the Main Quest: Uncork the Volcano in Terra Flora. During the quest, you will need to push a crate on top of a water spout to stop it from flowing. However, the crate will sometimes float in the air instead of falling down, preventing you from progressing through the quest.

Unfortunately, the only way to fix this issue to restart the game from a save file that was made before this point, so make sure to save your game often!

Palette Prime Secret Zone Glitch

Some players have experienced a glitch while playing the Palette Prime Secret Zone where the quest would become stuck at the final objective, preventing them from finishing it, even after obtaining the Spark. Because the quest would never register as complete, this prevents them from attaining 100% completion of the planet.

At the moment, there is no known way to fix this other than restarting from a save made before playing through the quest. However, this glitch will likely be patched by Ubisoft in an upcoming update.

Disappearing Spark Options

There are times when the options to give a Spark a Star Bit or Star Potion would disappear from the menu. This glitch has a quick and easy fix since all you need to do is to close and reopen the menu to see the options once again.

Software Closed Due to an Error

The software may occasionally close on its own when it encounters an error. It is hard to determine what causes these errors, but the only course of action to take after encountering them is to restart your game and continue from your last save.
