| Steps to proceed through Icy Breath of Winter | |
|---|---|
| 1 |  Use Team Jump on a Hero that can attack the Lone Wolf from partial cover. Dash towards the Bob-omb and throw it at the Stone Mask to destroy it. Use the remaning turns to defeat the Lone Wolf. |
| 2 |  Enter the pipe as a group and take down the Bob-ombs near the area. Take cover and take out the two Flamin' Stooges before moving on to the next area. |
| 3 |  Focus on taking out the Flamin' Stooges in each area first as their attacks can inflict Burn and remove your heroes from cover. Avoid moving while the gust is blowing as this reduces your range of movement. |
| 4 |  If there are no Bob-ombs left in the area, you can attack the Stone Mask to reduce its health. If you have Edge in your party, you can damage the Stone Mask multiple times in a single turn. |

Make use of Luigi's Steely Stare to defeat any incoming Bob-ombs and moving Flamin' Stooges. Activate Aquanox only if you are aiming at a Flamin' Stooge at 100% accuracy. Use Ethering to avoid getting hit by the Lone Wolf's Evil Sight when moving from cover to cover. |

Use Edge to take out any enemies hiding behind partial covers, particularly the Lone Wolves and Flamin' Stooges. Use Pyrostar when targeting a Lone Wolf at 100% accuracy as they are weak to Burn. Only activate Toxiquake if there are multiple enemies in the arena. |

You can also use Rabbid Peach to take out enemies hiding from covers as her weapon bypasses it. Team Jumping is used multiple times in this battle so be sure to unlock the Healing Jump skill to periodically heal her and nearby allies. Activate Reflector only if she may get targeted by the enemies at the end of your turn. |

How to Unlock Icy Breath of Winter
Complete Wolf at the Floor Battle Quest
After completing Wolf at the Floor, head up to the summit until you find the Darkmess Puddle. Interact with the puddle to start the battle.
This battle quest is part of the Cold Mouth of the Mountain main story quest.
